The UAP hybrid front door handle has a 243mm long backplate, and is aimed at the fabricator who wants to offer a high quality designed front door handle.

One of the main features that distinguishes this front door handle from any other is the fact that the outer and inner sides are made from different materials. The part of the door handle that is installed outside the front door is manufactured from 316 grade stainless steel, while the inner part is made of Zamak.

These door handles are part of the UAP Nanocoast range of products, specifically designed for areas which are within a 25 mile radius of the coast, or within 5 miles of highly populated industrial areas. Each front door handle (the outer part of the door handle) has been salt spray tested to ASTM B117 for 2,000 hours and comes with an industry first LIFETIME coating guarantee, as the products will not pit, rust or corrode no matter what environments you put them in! As for the inner part of the door handle, made from Zamak, it comes with a 5 year colour fast guarantee.

The hybrid front door handle has a tube shaped handle, which gives a very comfortable grip when operating. It is recommended to use a UAP 1* Kitemarked euro cylinder with the door handles in order to give you the best security. As the UAP hybrid front door handle is not BSi Kitemarked, we recommend to fit the UAP 2* cylinder guard with the front door handle and UAP+ cylinder in order to achieve a 3 star Kitemark status for PAS24 doors. This is also the most affordable way to three star security. The UAP 2* cylinder guard will fit 95% of Multi Point Locks, and will help to combat drill attacks!

Surface Coating Failure

We guarantee that the above products will not tarnish for a period of 3 years on all products except PVD stainless steel which is guaranteed for a Lifetime coating guaranatee subject to;

1. The products are applied to a door, window frame or door

2. The products are fixed correctly using the correct fixings and are not scratched or damaged at any time during the installation process or thereafter

3. The products are cleaned monthly with a moist cloth and not with any form of cleaning agents

4. No claim will be accepted for any product that is scratched or mutilated or fitted incorrectly

Mechanical Failure

We guarantee that the above products will not fail mechanically in normal use during the 5 year guarantee period subject to the conditions outlined above.
